Home Repair Handyman LLC was created in 2021 by Greg Thompson. Whether you need repairs or renovation, we are here to deliver the best service to you at the lowest rates possible. We take great pride in all the projects we take on, big or small. While the majority of companies in this industry are motivated mostly by profit, we are motivated by a genuine desire to build a community that people are happy to say they are from.
We provide general handyman service, maintenance, painting, remodeling, exterior repairs, flooring, carpentry, and drywall & plaster. We are bonded, insured, and stand behind all our work with a one year warranty. All of our craftsmen have to pass a strict background test and skill assessment before they can work with us. You can be rest assured that we are committed to taking great care of our clients and producing the best work possible.
My Personal Story:
Owner Greg Thompson -
From a young age, I found myself working alongside my dad and later my grandpa, learning the trade of a handyman. Back then, I never imagined it would become my passion—I even resisted it, unsure if this was the path for me. After high school, with limited options, I chose to work rather than pursue college or enlist in the military.
As time passed, I discovered something remarkable: the immense satisfaction of taking simple tools and transforming materials into something beautiful. That realization sparked my love for what I do. It wasn’t just about fixing things anymore—it was about creating, rebuilding, and challenging myself to achieve the best possible outcome for every project.
My journey wasn’t without its challenges. I went through a difficult period where I lost everything and found myself starting over from scratch. Newly sober and with only the clothes on my back, I met my wife. She gave me hope and inspired me to turn my life around. With her support and my determination, I decided to start my own business.
When I launched my company, I had no tools and no safety net—just a vision and a relentless drive. I purchased tools as I needed them for each job, building my business one project at a time. From the beginning, I was committed to doing this for myself and my family, without asking for handouts or shortcuts.
Today, I’m proud to say that I’ve built a business that serves my community with honesty, hard work, and dedication. I’m not wealthy, but I am richly blessed. I wake up every day grateful for the opportunity to do what I love and to help my clients bring their visions to life. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
